If it weren't for Jewish Mingle, we wouldn't have met!

We began to correspond in February 2004 and met two months later. We lived four hours apart in rural areas of Michigan where Jews are rare. Both of us were widowed with one daughter. We each only wanted to marry a Jewish person, but Jewish singles tended not to like our rural lifestyles; so both of us figured that we would each remain single indefinitely. We met, liked each other, and made plans to meet again. Eventually, our dates turned into daily phone calls and two- or three-day visits at one or the other's house. We became engaged on the first night of Hanukkah and were married in mid-November 2005. If it weren't for Jewish Mingle, we wouldn't have met!

It started out very simple.
It started out very simple. I was looking to relocate to Arizona and I started contacting some men in Arizona to ask them for their help with finding an apartment, etc. I also contacted women as well. Some of the men were very nice and kept a connection for a few short weeks. However, the best in the west won my heart. He is truly an officer and a gentleman. He invited me to stay with him until I found a job and could afford an apartment. He was also inquiring about potential places of employment. As we chatted online everyday, I decided that maybe it was worth getting to know him on more than a friendship level. One card, one smile, one chat after another led to the greatest relationship I have ever been in. I am originally from New York and so is he. We never connected while we were there, but somehow through the air we caught each others wave. I am very happy and so is he. We are now living together and planning our lives. The thing that worked for us was always speaking to one another with respect. Staying in touch online, then progessively working up to more and more was the nicest way to build a long distance relationship. We had very good communication between us. And, we still do.

We were a 100% match

I am writing this success story to share with other users of the website. I am known as LVlibra and my fiance is Iconoclast.
We met about 6 months ago and began our courtship with emails, which soon progressed to phone conversations every few days. When we discovered we used the same cell phone server, we began talking everyday. We began to learn more and more about each other, and within a month we felt ready to meet in person. We live in different cities and began to visit each other frequently. Now we are engaged, and I will be moving my residence in the next month to be with him permanently.
We both thank you for your wonderful website. The personality profile definitely made a difference. We were each sent notification that we were a 100% match. And we both agree! It was the stimulus for us to meet, and develop our relationship. (It is never too late, as we have both been married twice before.)
Thank you!!
