If it weren't for Jewish Mingle, we wouldn't have met!

We began to correspond in February 2004 and met two months later. We lived four hours apart in rural areas of Michigan where Jews are rare. Both of us were widowed with one daughter. We each only wanted to marry a Jewish person, but Jewish singles tended not to like our rural lifestyles; so both of us figured that we would each remain single indefinitely. We met, liked each other, and made plans to meet again. Eventually, our dates turned into daily phone calls and two- or three-day visits at one or the other's house. We became engaged on the first night of Hanukkah and were married in mid-November 2005. If it weren't for Jewish Mingle, we wouldn't have met!
